Honest & Transparent
I am committed to open government and will always answer questions openly and honestly. If you want to know, just ask. I sponsored an ordinance—passed by the Board—guaranteeing residents the right to speak at all public meetings because we need resident feedback as often as we can get it.
Fiscally Responsible
I use my budgeting experience to make disciplined, transparent decisions as revenues tighten. I ensure multiple bids are received on projects and that taxpayer dollars are spent only on initiatives that make sense.
Experienced Leader & Problem Solver
Elected as an Alderman in 2022, I bring four years of hands-on experience and am a Certified Municipal Official through the Missouri Municipal League. I also offer more than 35 years of IT leadership experience in business analysis, policy development, budgeting, and contract negotiation.
Commitment to Service
I care deeply about Pacific and am dedicated to improving residents’ quality of life. I research issues thoroughly, prepare for every meeting, and listen carefully to all feedback before making decisions.
Adaptability
As Pacific continues to grow and change, I remain flexible and responsive to evolving demographics, economic conditions, and policy challenges.
I WORK FOR YOU, AND I NEVER FORGET THAT!
Proposed Data Center:
The proposed data center is a major decision with long‑term implications for Pacific. I am committed to conducting a thorough review of the proposal, engaging residents, local businesses, and subject‑matter experts, and carefully evaluating economic, environmental, infrastructure, and quality‑of‑life impacts. My focus will be on making a well‑informed decision that reflects community input and serves the best interests of the entire city.
Fiscal Responsibility & Transparency:
As revenues tighten, disciplined and transparent financial management is more important than ever. I will apply my budgeting experience to prioritize essential services, require competitive bidding, and ensure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely. I am committed to open budgeting practices so residents understand how funds are allocated and how financial decisions are made.
City Hall Systems and Support:
City Hall systems require modernization. Core services such as billing, permitting, and licensing should be accessible online. Meeting recordings need improved audio quality, and staff must have reliable IT support. These upgrades are essential to efficient operations and public service.
Infrastructure & Water Reliability:
Reliable infrastructure is essential to public health, safety, and quality of life. Pacific must invest in repairing and upgrading aging water mains, sewer lines, and stormwater systems. Recurring sewer backups—particularly those impacting residents’ basements—are unacceptable and must be addressed. I will advocate for targeted funding, long‑term planning, and responsible maintenance to put an end to these issues and ensure dependable service for all residents.
